Bruins Host Trojans in Annual Dual
This weekend, the Bruins will go head-to-head against cross-town rival USC in the annual dual meet. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the dual meet. The Bruins have an overall record of 31-39 against the Trojans, including a 22 year win streak. Since that streak was snapped in 2001, the Bruins have gone on to win that past two years.
Last year, the Bruins defeated the Trojans 82-81 in one of three meets decided by that margin. Helping to clinch that meet was Ben Aragon. In winning three events, including a sweep of the 5000m to clinch the meet, Aragon helped give the Bruins their 31st victory against the Trojans.
The annual dual meet will be scored using the traditional scoring format. Individual event scoring: 5-3-1; Relay scoring: 5-0.
