Los Angeles - Senior women's tennis player Sara Walker will represent UCLA in singles at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships beginning Thursday at the Riviera Tennis Club. The main draw gets underway tomorrow and concludes on Sunday.

Walker, who received a direct acceptance into the main draw because of her No. 6 singles ranking, will take on a qualifier in Thursday's first round. She is seeded fifth in the 32-player singles draw.

Looking to join Walker in the main draw, Bruin freshman Jackie Carleton won two rounds of pre-qualifying singles over the weekend, however was defeated in the first round of qualifying on Tuesday by Washington's Claire Carter, 6-0, 6-4.

The Bruin doubles tandem of Sarah Gregg and Anya Loncaric also advanced through pre-qualifying over the weekend and won a round of qualifying on Tuesday, defeating Jemina Hayward/Erin Polowski of Boise State, 8-4. Gregg and Loncaric could not pull off the upset in the second round however, falling to fourth-seeded Lindsay Dawaf/Julie Rotondi of Florida, 8-3.
