Jaime Hipp enters her fourth and final season as the Bruins' starting goalkeeper. Since starting at goalie as a freshman in 2000 Hipp has had an outstanding career, helping the Bruins win back to back national championships in 2000 and 2001 and in the process becoming one of the top collegiate goalkeepers in the nation.
Hipp is currently ranked number two on the Bruins all time career saves list with 491 saves (not including the 2003 season) and her career goals against average of 4.36 is UCLA second ranked career average. Hipp's 2002 season ranks as one the best seasons in UCLA's Women's Water Polo season, with her 191 saves and 4.00 goals against average ranking fourth and second on the Bruins' all time lists respectively.
Through nine games of the 2003 season Hipp has continued her stellar playing posting a 4.25 goals against average and recording 82 saves.

2002 - A Second-team All-American selection... Earned All-MPSF Second team honors... Named to the MPSF and NCAA All-Tournament Second teams... Earned a shutout against Cal State Northridge... Recorded a season- high 16 saves in a 4-2 victory against USC... Had 12 saves in a 7-6 victory over USC in the MPSF semifinals... Finished the season with 191 saves and a goals against average of 4.00.
2001 - Third-team All-American selection...Earned MPSF honorable mention...Named to the NCAA second-team All-Tournament team...Had six saves in the NCAA Championship win over Stanford and seven saves against Loyola Marymount in the NCAA semi-finals...At the MPSF Championships, had two saves against UC Santa Barbara and 13 against USC... Had a regular season-high nine saves against San Jose State...Also had eight saves in wins over UC Santa Barbara and Cal... Ended the season with 102 saves and a 4.55 goals against average.
2000 - Named third-team All-American ... Earned second-team All-National Collegiate Tournament accolades ... Grabbed a team-high 198 saves and posted a 4.52 goals against average ... Grabbed a career high 11 saves versus Hawaii on Feb. 5 and against California on Mar. 31 ... Held four opponents to only one goal per game ... Limited 21 opponents to less than five goals per game ... Pulled down 10 saves in four different games, including in the national championship game against USC.
