Walnut Creek, Calif. - UCLA freshman midfielder Sal Zizzo has been named the Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for Aug. 30 - Sept. 5, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

In his first collegiate start, Zizzo, from San Diego, Calif. (Patrick Henry HS), scored a goal and two assists in UCLA's 4-0 upset victory over second-ranked Maryland.
