2003 State Farm Pac-10 Tournament
March 8, 2003

Game Notes
#4 UCLA (18-10) vs. #5 Oregon (12-16)

  • The 30 points by Nikki Blue marks the second-highest scoring game in Pac-10 Tournament history. Only Stanford's Nicole Powell's 37-point effort against Oregon State, March 3 of last year was higher.

  • Blue's 10 field goals was third-highest in tournament history. It is only bested by Powell's 13 (Oregon State, March 3, 2002) and Oregon State's Juleen Smith's 11 in that same game.

  • Blue's 25 field goal attempts sets tournament record in that category. The previous mark was 22 by Powell versus Oregon State, March 3 of 2002.

  • Blue's 30 points gives her a Pac-10 high three 30-point games this season and ten 20-point plus scoring games.

  • Blue's career-high eight steals sets a single-game tournament record.

  • Oregon led 45-43 with 10:44 remaining when UCLA scored 11 consecutive points to take a 54-45 advantage.

  • UCLA led 56-47 with five minutes remaining extending its streak when leading at that point of the game to 16-0.

  • UCLA captured three games against Oregon this year after losing five of the previous six meetings.

  • The three losses to UCLA marks the first time that Oregon has lost to a Pac-10 school that many times in a season.

  • UCLA's 18 steals is a tournament record besting the 16 by Cal versus UCLA, March 1 of last year.

  • The 46 combined points by Blue and Michelle Greco accounted for nearly 65 percent of the Bruins' point output.

  • Oregon's run of nine straight post-season appearances ends (8 NCAA's, 1 WNIT).

  • With 54 three-pointers - including two tonight - Brandi Davis is fourth in Oregon history in single-season treys.
