Men's Golfers Fall to Fourth at 49er Classic

The UCLA men's golf team finished fourth Friday at the Long Beach State 49er Classic at the Industry Hills Zaharias Course.

The Bruins posted a final round team score of 310, 26-over par, and placed behind TCU, Toledo and UC Riverside. Entering the final round, the Bruins held a two-shot lead over TCU.

Individually, the Bruins were led by sophomore John Merrick who posted a final round of 74. Sophomore Roy Moon and freshman Breene Murphy each recorded rounds of 77, followed by junior Sang-Eun Ji who shot 82 and senior Parker McLachlin who shot 84.
