Yoo Kim Sets Korean National Pole Vault Record, Bruin Men Finish 17th at NCAA Championships

June 12, 2004

Austin, TX - In the final day of the 2004 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held at Texas' Mike A. Myers Stadium before 14,000, the UCLA men tied for 17th with Stanford, scoring 17 points.

"We were a little flat," said Coach Art Venegas. "We could've scored better. Yoo Kim had a phenomenal meet. I'm proud of the way Dan Ames fought through all three of his events this week."
