The UCLA women's golf team tied for eighth place Sunday at the Peg Barnard Invitational, hosted at the Stanford Golf Course.
The Bruins posted a final round team score of 314 for a 36-hole total of 621, tied with Nevada.
Washington won the event with a two-round score of 543, 17-over par, followed by Cal at 599 and USC at 600.
Individually for UCLA sophomore Gina Umeck tied for 21st at 153 after posting a final round score of 76. Senior Alicia Um tied for 32nd place at 156, followed by freshman Charlotte Mayorkas, who tied for 34th at 157. Freshman Yvonne Choe and Melissa Martin each tied for 40th at 158. Freshman Kristin Thompson, playing as an individual, tied for 21st at 156.
USC's Mikaela Parmlid captured medlist honors with a 36-hole total of 143, one-under par. Parmlid posted a final round score of 70, two-under par. Stanford's Kim Rowton was second at 145, followed by Washington's Lindsay Morgan at 146.
