The UCLA men's soccer team, which is currently 3-0 in spring play, will play one last home spring game on Monday, Apr. 10 against the Los Angeles Galaxy reserves on the North Athletic Field. Game time is 1:00 pm, and admission is free.
Expected to play for UCLA and head coach Todd Salda?a are returning starters Ryan Lee (defender), Scot Thompson (defender), Shaun Tsakiris (midfielder), Ryan Futagaki (midfielder) and McKinley Tennyson, Jr. (forward). Tennyson has already scored five goals in the Bruins' three games, including a hat trick in UCLA's 5-0 win over Portland March 19. Tim Pierce has also played well in the spring, tallying a goal against Wisconsin and one against Portland.
Possible players for the Galaxy are former Bruins Matt Reis (goalkeeper), Adam Frye (defender), Pete Vagenas (midfielder), Seth George (forward) and Sasha Victorine (midfielder/forward). Galaxy head coach Sigi Schmid coached the Bruins from 1980-1999.
The Bruins close out spring play April 27 with a match at Cal State Fullerton at 7:00 pm.
