Santa Clara, Calif. - The third-ranked UCLA women's soccer team had its six-match winning streak snapped Friday evening, as No. 5 Santa Clara posted a 3-0 victory over the Bruins at Buck Shaw Stadium.
Santa Clara's Meagan Snell paced the Broncos with a pair of goals, with her first strike coming in just the 13th minute of the match. After Kiki Bosio put Santa Clara up 2-0 in the 27th minute, Snell notched her second goal of the evening just after halftime.
UCLA was paced by junior Danesha Adams, who had a match-high four shots on the night.
The Bruins fall to 6-2 overall with the loss, while the Broncos improve to 7-2.
UCLA looks to rebound on Sunday, as the Bruins will host No. 19 Pepperdine at Drake Stadium beginning at 1:00 p.m.
