LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Arizona completed a three-game sweep of UCLA with a 12-2 victory Sunday afternoon in front of a season high 721 fans at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Wildcat left-hander Eric Berger tossed a hitless 5.2 innings of relief while facing just one batter over the minimum en route to sending the Bruins to their thirteenth consecutive defeat.

The Bruins fall to 7-17 overall and 0-3 in Pac-10 play while No. 10 Arizona improves to 21-10 and 5-1.

Five Bruin hurlers combined to allow 16 hits, eight walks and two hit batsman while the UCLA offense could only muster six hits against Berger and Arizona starter David Coulon. Berger improves to 3-0 while UCLA starter Brian Schroeder, who allowed five runs on eight hits over five innings, falls to 0-2 with the defeat.

First baseman Jordan Brown and center fielder Chris Frey each tallied three RBI for the Wildcats and Brown joined right fielder Jeff Van Houten and left fielder Trevor Crowe as the three Wildcats with three hits each.

Six different Bruins collected a single hit a piece, with Tommy Lansdon and Chris Denove driving in the Bruins' only two runs.
