*UCLA still leads the overall series against Colorado, 4-1.

*Chris Griffith's 30-yard field goal in the third quarter marked the first third-quarter points given up by Colorado this year.

*Chris Brown's 188 yards rushing on 26 attempts were the most against UCLA since Wisconsin's Ron Dayne rushed for 246 yards on 27 carries in the 1999 Rose Bowl. Brown's three touchdowns were also the most by a Bruin opponent since Dayne rushed for four touchdowns in the 1999 Rose Bowl.

*UCLA's defense, which had forced seven turnovers in the first two games of 2002, was unable to force any turnovers against the Buffaloes today.
