Megan Bradley Named ITA National Rookie of the Year

Stanford, Calif. - UCLA freshman women's tennis player Megan Bradley was named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's National Rookie of the Year on Sunday at the ITA's annual awards banquet in conjunction with the NCAA Championships in Stanford, Calif.

Bradley, from Columbia, MO, is currently ranked No. 3 in the nation in singles and fifth in doubles with partner Lauren Fisher. She will be one of the favorites to take home the NCAA singles title when the individual tournament begins today in Stanford. She is also entered in the doubles draw.

Bradley, who played No. 1 singles for UCLA all season, currently owns a 28-8 overall record.
