Renfrow Advances to Final on Three-Meter at USA Nationals

Sophomore Brittany Renfrow continued her successful summer season, finishing eighth in the semifinals of the three-meter competition to advance to Saturday's final at the USA Speedo National Championships. Renfrow's score of 245.61 in the quarterfinals moved her to eighth place, advancing her to the semifinal round. With a final score of 434.64 in the semifinals, Renfrow advances to the finals on Saturday.

Senior Paige Thompson placed 16th (219.63) in the preliminary rounds and advanced to the semifnals on three-meter. She ended the competition in 17th place with a combined score of 399.18. Incoming freshman Marisa Samaniego finished the preliminary rounds in 19th (204.81).

On Tuesday, incoming freshman Tess Schofield finished eighth on the platform competition with a score of 393.21. After the preliminary rounds, Schofield was in seventh place with a score 242.43.

Competition continues on Thursday with the one-meter springboard. Senior Amanda Blong will represent UCLA on the 1M.
