Bruins Finish Carson Daly Invitational

Four UCLA freshmen golfers completed medal play Tuesday in the Carson Daly Invitational, hosted by Loyola-Marymount at Robinson Ranch Golf Club in Santa Clarita, Calif.

Kevin Chappell led the Bruin contingent with a second place finish at even par 213 after posting a final round score of 74 (+3). Brandon Christianson tied for 10th at 221, Craig Leslie tied for 28th at 228 and Matt Marshall tied for 48th at 236.

Andrew Lawson of The Master's College won the event with a 54-hole score of 212 (-1).

Holy Names University won the team title with a score of 891 (+39).
