Moon Tied for First at California State Amateur

UCLA junior Roy Moon is tied for first place after the first round of the 92nd California State Amateur Championship at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Moon fired a one-under par 71 and is tied with three other players entering Tuesday's final round of stroke play. Following the second round, the top 32 players will advance to the match play competition, which begins on Wednesday, June 18.

On Tuesday, Moon tees off at Spyglass Hill at 7:31 a.m.
