Bruins Tied for Fourth after Round One at The Prestige

The UCLA men's golf team is tied for fourth place after the first round at The Prestige, hosted by UC Davis at the Mountain Course of PGA West.

The Bruins posted a team score of 292, four-over par, and are tied with Washington. They trail first place TCU, which posted a four-under par 284. UC Irvine is second at 286, followed by Pacific at 291.

Freshman Spencer Levin is tied for fifth place after posting a first round score of 70, two-under par. Junior John Merrick is tied for 24th at 73 and Roy Moon is tied for 34th at 74. Senior Sang-Eun Ji and sophomore John Poucher are tied for 39th at 75.

Second round play was halted because of darkness and will be completed on Tuesday with the final round immediately following.
