"There will be some very fast times this weekend since SMU and Florida were both in the top-10 at last year's NCAA Championships. It is challenging to have such intense competition so early in the season, but it will be great to race against these teams and not set any limits on ourselves."
Competition begins on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 pm with the 400 Medley Relay, 400 IM, 200 Free, 100 Fly, 1M Diving, 100 Back, 100 Breast, 50 Free and 800 Free Relay. Saturday's competition will also begin at 7:30 pm with the 400 Free Relay, 500 Free, 200 Back, 200 Breast, 3M Diving, 100 Free, 200 Fly, 200 IM and 200 Free Relay.

"The UCSD and USD duals will be great opportunities for some different athletes to step up and make their mark," said Coach Hansen. "With a portion of our team going to SMU, it will be important for the team to race with confidence and stay determined from one event to the next. We have been training well and look forward to the challenge."
"I am happy we will be getting the opportunity to compete in La Jolla this weekend," added Coach Stebbins. "It will be a great place to see where we are and what things we need to work on to improve at the end of the season."
The meet will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday.
