Jeanette Bolden, UCLA's women's track & field head coach, on Friday announced three new National Letter of Intent signees who will compete for the Bruins as true freshmen this fall - they are, distance runner Olga Aulet-Leon (Rolling Hills Peninsula HS), hurdler Dashanta Harris (Long Beach Poly) and distance runner Monika Rothenburger (Dana Hills HS).

-Olga Aulet-Leon (Rolling Hills Peninsula HS) - At the 2004 CA State Championships, finished ninth in the 1600m (5:12.23) after qualifying for the final in 4:58.49. A Los Angeles Times first-team All-Star in the 1600m relay, Harris was a key member of Poly's outstanding 400m and 1600m relays. She ran the second leg on the Jackrabbits' 1600m relay, clocked in 3:35.49, a National and State record set at the 2004 CA State meet. Harris' performances helped Poly cruise to the State team title, 30 points ahead of second-place James Logan.

In 2003, she had a seasonal-best time of 14.01 in the 100m hurdles, No. 20 on the U. S. prep list.
