Bruins Top Women's Water Polo Preseason Poll

The UCLA's women's water polo team is ranked number one in the Collegiate Coaches Preseason Water Polo Poll released January 21, 2004. The Bruins, who beat Stanford 4-3 in the NCAA Championship Game last year to earn their sixth national championship will look to defend their title beginning February 7th at the Stanford Invitational Tournament.

In 2003 the Bruins finished with a 23-4 record that included a sixteen game win streak and a 3-2 victory over the world champion USA National Team at Sunset Canyon Recreation Center.

USC which finished the season ranked third in the nation is ranked number two followed by last year's runner up Stanford.
