La Jolla, Calif. - On Saturday, the Bruin women's water polo team defeated Cal State San Bernardino, 13-1 and No. 12 UC San Diego, 7-1. No. 3 UCLA's record is now 14-2, 4-0. The team's only two losses have come from No. 1 USC and No. 2 Stanford.
During the first game of the day, against CSUSB, the Bruins scored the first 13 goals. Jillian Kraus led the tead with three goals. Berg added CSUSB's only goal in the fourth quarter.
In the win over UCSD, the Bruins scored the first seven goals. UCLA scored twice in the first and three times in the second quarter to take a 5-0 lead at the break. UCLA added single goals in the third and fourth quarters to lead 7-0. UCSD got on the board in the final period with 4:03 on the clock as Miho Umezawa netted a goal.
