Stanford, Calif. - With the team championships now concluded, several UCLA men's and women's tennis players will turn their attention to the individual portion of the NCAA Championships, which run from May 25-30 at Stanford's Taube Tennis Center.
The Bruins have two players competing in the men's singles draw, as freshman Daniel Kosakowski and senior Amit Inbar both begin play on Wednesday. Kosakowski opens up the tournament against Mississippi State's Artem Ilyushin 1:00 p.m. Inbar faces Florida State's Vahid Mirzadeh at 2:30 p.m.
The UCLA men do not have any teams entered in the doubles draw in Stanford.
On the women's side, UCLA's McCall Jones faces Shannon Mathews from Notre Dame on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. The other Bruin representative in the 64-player draw is senior Noelle Hickey, who meets Florida State's Katie Rybakova at 6:00 p.m.
UCLA has two teams competing in the doubles draw at Stanford. Hickey and Jones face Tennessee's Brynn Boren and Natalie Pluskota, while Courtney Dolehide and Andrea Remynse square off against 5-8-seeded Shinann Featherston and Lauren McHale of North Carolina. Match times for doubles play, which begins on Thursday, have not yet been released.
