INDIANAPOLIS -- UCLA will have several players competing in this year's NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships, as the NCAA recently relesed the 64 singles players and 32 doubles teams that will compete in the 2012 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships in Athens, Ga.
Bruin No. 1 Robin Anderson was the team's lone at-large selection to the singles draw and is seeded No. 4 behind only Allie Will (Florida), Beatrice Capra (Duke) and Nicole Gibbs (Stanford).
Anderson will also be competing in the doubles draw with partner Skylar Morton. The Bruin duo is listed as a 5-8 seed in the draw. Also in the doubles draw will be the Bruin tandem of Courtney Dolehide and Pamela Montez.
The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 23-28 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga., following the conclusion of the team championship (May 17-22). The University of Georgia will serve as host.
UCLA begins NCAA Tournament play on Friday, May 11 against Eastern Kentucky.
