Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from Sept. 17-23. The Bruins lead all universities with 22 alumni in MLS.

Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Beltran started and played all 90 minutes in defense as Real Salt Lake defeated the Portland Timbers, 2-1, on Saturday. He recorded one shot in the match and has started and played all 90 minutes in Salt Lake's last nine matches.
Real Salt Lake record: 15-11-4, 49 points, 3rd place in Western Conference

David Estrada (Seattle Sounders FC; Years played at UCLA: 2006-09)
Estrada returned from injury and played 19 minutes as a substitute in Seattle's 2-1 loss to San Jose on Saturday. Estrada came on for Steve Zakuani in the 71st minute and recorded two shots in the match. It was Estrada's first minutes since May 26 after he spent the last few months recovering from a foot injury.

Feilhaber came on as a substitute and played 17 minutes for New England in their 1-1 draw with the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. He came on for Diego Fagundez in the 73rd minute and drew a second yellow card on Red Bulls defender Connor Lade to put New York down to 10 men.

Jordan Harvey (Vancouver Whitecaps FC; Years played at UCLA: 2002-05)
Harvey started and played all 90 minutes at left back in Vancouver's 2-2 draw with Colorado on Sunday. He did not record a statistic in the match.

Chance Myers started and played all 90 minutes at right back on Wednesday in Sporting Kansas City's 2-0 win over the New York Red Bulls. He did not record a statistic in the match, but helped Kansas City earn their 13th shutout of the season. Myers then came back on Saturday and played seven minutes off the bench in Kansas City's 0-0 draw with Montreal. Sporting Kansas City currently sits atop the standings in the Eastern Conference and Myers has played a key role in helping the club achieve that standing, starting 24 of Kansas City's 30 matches.

Amobi Okugo (Philadelphia Union; Years played at UCLA: 2009)
Amobi Okugo started and played all 90 minutes at center back in Philadelphia's 1-0 loss to D.C. United on Thursday. Okugo did not record a statistic in the match. Then on Sunday, Okugo again started and played all 90 minutes as the Union defeated the Dynamo, 3-1. He recorded his first assist of the year on Philadelphia's final goal, setting up Josué Martinez to seal the win for the Union. Okugot has now started and played all 90 minutes in Philadelphia's last 17 matches.

Nick Rimando made four saves and picked up his 14th victory of the year as Real Salt Lake defeated Portland, 2-1, on Saturday. He faced 11 total shots in the match and has now made 70 saves on the season.

Kelyn Rowe (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2010-11)
Rowe started and played all 90 minutes at midfielder in New England's 1-1 draw with the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. He helped salvage a draw for the Revolution by assisting on Darrius Barnes' game-tying goal in the 95th minute, earning the second assist on the play. Rowe now has three goals and four assists for the Revolution as he continues to impress during his rookie season.

Pete Vagenas started and played 61 minutes in Chivas USA's 1-0 loss to D.C. United on Sunday. Vagenas did not record a statistic in the match and was subbed off for Alejandro Moreno in the 61st minute.

It was Zizzo's fourth assist of the year for the Timbers.
