The 25th-ranked Bruins (6-2, 3-2) continued their work for Saturday's Pac-12 Conference game (7:37 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks) against No. 24 Arizona (5-3, 2-3) this morning on Spaulding Field.
Bruin Notes ---- Senior Datone Jones and junior Cassius Marsh were each named today to the 2012 Mid-Season Watch List for the Ted Hendricks Award which annually recognizes the nation' top defensive end. Sophomore linebacker Eric Kendricks leads the Pac-12 in tackles (9.2/g). He totaled 17 in last week's win at Arizona State. Junior linebacker Anthony Barr is ranked eighth in the nation in sacks (1.06/g). As a team, UCLA is ranked tied for sixth in the nation in sacks (3.38/g) this season. Cornerback Sheldon Price is tied for fifth in the nation in interceptions (0.57 per game). Jeff Locke leads the Pac-12 with 23 punts placed inside the twenty-yard line and with 43 touchbacks on kickoffs.
