Primm Is The Nation's New No. 1
Junior Cory Primm followed up his lifetime-best performance against USC with another one at the Oxy Invitational on May 8th, running the No. 1 time in the NCAA this season, 1:46.63. The time ranks second all-time at UCLA and No. 2 in the U.S. among professional, collegiate and high school competitors.

Thompson Shows No Freshman Nerves In Hurdles
After a hurdle error at the UCLA dual with USC caused Turquoise Thompson's 400m hurdle time of 56.75 to be disallowed, the freshman ran 57.11 at the Oxy Invite on May 8th for the seventh best mark in the NCAA this season. That time was a personal best for the freshman and moves her to No. 10 in school history.

Viuf Regains 2009 Form With 14-2 Vault
Katy Viuf has re-entered the national scene after battling injuries during indoors. After clearing 14-0 at the RJ/JJK Invite, Viuf cleared a lifetime-best 14-2 at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic in Florida. That mark is No. 3 in the NCAA and No. 3 all-time at UCLA.

Dylan Knight Moves Into Bruin Top-10
Competing in Tracktown USA (Eugene, OR), Knight blew away the steeplechase field in a dual with the Ducks as he ran an impressive lifetime-best of 8:48.84 to win. That time is eighth in the NCAA and eight all-time in UCLA history.

Rowe Hurdles Into UCLA Top-10
Lindsay Rowe made her all-time top-10 debut at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic in Florida as she ran a lifetime-best 13.36 in the hurdles. With that time, Rowe moved to 10th all-time in school history. She then bettered that mark in the dual with USC, running the No. 9 time in school history, 13.25.

McLaughlin Hitting Her Stride
Junior sprinter Ashlea McLaughin's season is shaping up to be a big one as she has already ran lifetime-bests in the 200m, 400m and 800m this season. She has been building a strong base through 800m training and it has carried over into the sprinting events. Against USC, McLaughlin dipped below the 53-second barrier, running 52.92.
