The No. 19-ranked Bruins (3-0) continued preparations for Saturday's Pac-12 Conference battle with Oregon State (1-0) today on Spaulding Field. UCLA leads the series with the Beavers 40-15-4 and has captured the last two meetings.
Bruin Notes ---- UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley leads all freshmen nationally in passing yards (827), total offense yards (946) and completions (23/g); he is tied for the freshman lead nationally in scoring passes with eight. UCLA and Oklahoma State are the only schools in the FBS averaging at least 300 yds rushing and 300 yds passing per game. The Bruins lead the nation with seven interceptions.The UCLA defense has scored in each game this season (fumble returns at Rice and vs. Houston for touchdowns and a safety vs. Nebraska).
