Primm Finishes 5th At NACAC Under-23 Championships

Competing for Team USA in Miramar Florida, senior-to-be Cory Primm finished fifth in the 800m at the Under-23 NACAC Championships. The meet, which features athletes from North America, Central America and the Caribbean, took place over the weekend.

Primm posted the fastest preliminary time on Saturday in the opening rounds with a run of 1:50.12. He then finished fifth in the final with a time of 1:49.04.

Primm had a banner year in 2010, earning All-American honors at the indoor (DMR) and outdoor (800m) NCAA Championships. He also set the school record in the 800m with his lifetime-best performance of 1:45.70.
