LOS ANGELES - The ninth-ranked UCLA men's tennis team plays its first two Pac-12 opponents of the 2012 season this weekend, as the Bruins head to the Bay Area for clashes with No. 13 Cal and No. 6 Stanford. The matches, however, will not count in the conference standings. Instead, the Pac-12 counting matches between the teams will take place at UCLA in early April.

UCLA (4-0) is coming off a successful showing at ITA Kick-Off Weekend held at the Los Angeles Tennis Center last week, winning both of its matches to qualify for the 16-team ITA National Team Indoor Championships beginning on Feb. 17 in Charlottesville, Va. The Bruins did not drop a single point in their two matches over the weekend, dispatching of both Alabama and Fresno State by 4-0 scores. Cal (3-0) and Stanford (4-0) also qualified for the National Team Indoors following victories over the weekend. Official ITA National Team Indoor Page.
