The Bruins (3-1, 0-1) continued their work for Saturday's Pac-12 Conference road battle (3 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks) at Colorado (1-3, 1-0) today on Spaulding Field. UCLA leads the series with the Buffs 5-2 and won last season's meeting 45-6 in the Rose Bowl.
Bruin Notes ---- Quarterback Brett Hundley has recorded 300-yard passing games in his last three outings, a school record string. Cade McNown's total of six 300-yard passing games is the school mark for a season. He also owns the career 300-yard game passing record with 11.Hundley's 404 yards of total offense against Oregon State ranks fifth all-time at UCLA and is the sixth 400-yard game in school history.
Linebacker Anthony Barr, playing his first season on defense, is ranked tied for 10th in the nation in sacks (1.25/g) and leads the team with 5.0 in four games. Sheldon Price tops the nation in interceptions with a 1.33 per game average. He matched the school record with three thefts in the game against Houston.
Four more home contests in the Rose Bowl remain for the Bruins, including an Oct. 13 matchup against Utah, Nov. 3 versus Arizona, Nov. 17 against USC and Nov. 24 versus Stanford.
