LOS ANGELES -Since the UCLA-USC football game at the Rose Bowl Saturday will kickoff at noon, UCLA and Rose Bowl Stadium officials are asking that all fans attending the game plan on arriving early.
All Rose Bowl parking lots will open at 6 am. Fans driving to the game should anticipate heavy traffic and it is recommended that they arrive at the stadium by 9 am to minimize delays. Spectators are also asked to consider carpooling or taking public transportation, including Metro, to alleviate travel time to the venue.
With nearly 90,000 fans expected to converge upon the Rose Bowl Stadium, and it is imperative that fans take note of the following information:
General parking is located north of the Rose Bowl Stadium on the Brookside Golf Course and sold on game day only, for $20 per car. Heavy traffic, congested streets and delays are anticipated around the stadium. All general parking is north of the stadium on two golf courses. Attempting to get to the stadium via Pasadena city streets will be difficult.
Please refrain from using GPS or internet-printed directions, as they do not take into account traffic conditions or where the available parking is located.
