Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from Aug. 6-12. The Bruins lead all universities with 23 alumni in MLS.

Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Beltran started and played all 90 minutes in defense as Real Salt Lake fell 2-1 to the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday. He did not record a statistic in the match.

Benny Feilhaber (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2003-04)
Feilhaber started and played 66 minutes as the Revolution fell to the Montreal Impact 1-0 on Sunday. Feilhaber was subbed off for fellow UCLA alum Kelyn Rowe in the 66th minute and did not record a statistic in the match.

Kevin Hartman made three saves and earned his sixth win of the season as FC Dallas defeated the Colorado Rapids 3-2 on Saturday. Hartman faced 12 shots in the match and was credited after the match for keeping FC Dallas close with some key saves. Hartman now has 66 saves on the season.

Chandler Hoffman made his return from injury and earned his second start of the year in Philadelphia's 3-1 loss the Chicago Fire on Sunday. Hoffman started at forward and played 69 minutes in the loss.
Union record: 7-12-2, 23 points, 9th place in Eastern Conference

Hoffman's 2012 MLS season stats: 4GP/2GS, 149 minutes

Amobi Okugo (Philadelphia Union; Years played at UCLA: 2009)
Okugo started and played all 90 minutes at center back in Philadelphia's 3-1 loss to Chicago on Sunday. He did not record a statistic in the match, but has started and played all 90 minutes in Philadelphia's last 10 matches.
Union record: 7-12-2, 23 points, 9th place in Eastern Conference

Rimando made three saves and allowed two goals in Real Salt Lake's 2-1 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday. He faced 11 attempts on goal in the match. On Sunday, Rimando was named as one of the 23 players that will compete for the U.S. Men's National Team when they take on Mexico in a friendly on Aug. 15 in Mexico City.

Andy Rose (Seattle Sounders FC; Years played at UCLA: 2008-11)
Andy Rose started and played 82 minutes for the Sounders as Seattle fell to the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 on Saturday. Rose recorded two shots, one on goal, in the match before being subbed off for Mauro Rosales in the 82nd minute.
Sounders record: 10-6-7, 37 points, 3rd place in Western Conference

Kelyn Rowe (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2010-11)
Rowe came on as a substitute and played 24 minutes in New England's 1-0 loss to the Montreal Impact on Sunday. He came on for fellow UCLA alum Benny Feilhaber in the 66th minute and recorded two shots, one on goal, in the match.

Michael Stephens (Los Angeles Galaxy; Years played at UCLA: 2006-09)
Stephens came on as a substitute and played 15 minutes in the Galaxy's 4-0 win over Chivas USA in the SuperClasico. He came on for Hector Jimenez in the 75th minute and did not record an offensive statistic in his 15 minutes of play.
Galaxy record: 11-11-3, 36 points, 5th place in Western Conference

Stephens' 2012 MLS season stats: 15GP/5GS, 563 minutes, 3 shots, 1 SOG

Marvell Wynne (Colorado Rapids; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05)
Marvell Wynne started and played all 90 minutes at center back in Colorado's 3-2 loss to FC Dallas on Saturday. He recorded one shot in the match. It was also the 10th consecutive match that Wynne has started and played all 90 minutes for the Rapids.
Rapids record: 8-15-1, 25 points, 8th place in Western Conference
This week's Rapids schedule: Aug. 18 - vs. Chivas USA
Wynne's 2012 MLS season stats: 18GP/18GS, 1,620 minutes, 1 shot

Note: On Wednesday, UCLA alum Chance Myers played all 129 minutes as he helped Sporting Kansas City defeat Seattle on penalty kicks to win the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Myers did not record a statistic in the match but helped the Sporting Kansas City defense hold Seattle to just eight attempts on goal. This is the second time in Sporting Kansas City's history that they've taken home the U.S. Open Cup. UCLA alum Shawn Singh is also a member of Sporting Kansas City.
