IRVINE, Calif. - The No. 3 UCLA women's water polo team returns to action this weekend at the UC Irvine Invitational, playing four games in two days (Feb. 25-26). The Bruins will face No. 17 Cal State Northridge at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Clark leads UCLA with 23 goals in nine matches. The senior from Atherton, Calif., ranks third among MPSF field players with a 2.56 goals per game average. Clark trails Arizona State's Alicia Brightwell (3.10 gpg) and San Diego State's Meaghan Poland (2.80 gbg) in that category.
Each team at the UCI Invitational will play two matches each day in a bracket format. The winner of Saturday's match between UCLA and Cal State Northridge will play the winner of that morning's game between Hawaii and Michigan.
Following the UC Invitational, UCLA will play one MPSF match each of the next three weekends - at USC on March 3 and at home against San Jose State on March 10 and Arizona State on March 17.
