Three Bruin Tracksters Compete at Last Chance NCAA Qualifiers

Three Bruin track and field athletes competed at last chance qualifier meets on Saturday in the effort to pick up marks that would put them in the NCAA Indoor Championship meet.

Freshman Kylie Price competed in Ames, IA at the Iowa State NCAA Qualifier and finished second overall in the 60m with a time of 7.50. She was ranked 25th in the NCAA with a best time of 7.37 and will not get a chance to compete at NCAAs.

In Seattle, WA at the UW Last Chance Qualifier, pole vaulters Tori Anthony and Allison Koressel were in action. Koressel cleared 12-9 to tie for second, while Anthony no heighted at the same height. Anthony was tied for 20th in the NCAA with a best of 13-10, while Koressel was tied for 26th with a vault of 13-5.75. Neither woman will advance to NCAAs.

Ida Storm will represent the UCLA women at the NCAA Indoor Championships next weekend (Mar. 9-10) in Nampa, ID, while the women's team will begin the outdoor season in Fullerton at the Ben Brown Invitational.
