Finally, the team for the World University Games will be selected based on the results from these Spring Championships. The WUG will take place in Bangkok, Thailand August 13-18, 2007.
"While it has taken some time for our group to recover from an outstanding NCAA season, I am looking forward to watching these three kids represent our program at US Diving's Spring Championship. Marisa and Tess are both very close to regaining their All-American form and I am excited about the opportunities that may be presented to us during the next ten days."
The main events will take place April 18-22. Women's one meter semifinal will take place on Wednesday, April 18 (finals that evening). Women's ten meter semifinal will take place Thursday, April 19 (finals, Saturday 4/21). Finally, Women's three meter semifinal will take place Friday, April 20th (finals, Sunday 4/22).
"We are going to a new facility, with a great host club. I am excited to get back east and see what our kids do against the best in the country. This is a great week for diving, and I am very happy to be part of it."
