Tabatruong to Play for Title at So. Cal Intercollegiates

LOS ANGELES - Sophomore Maxime Tabatruong continued his impressive run at the 54th Southern California Intercollegiate Championships on Saturday, posting a straight-set semifinal win to advance to Sunday's singles final.

Tabatruong defeated Pepperdine's third-seeded Alex Llompart, 6-4, 6-3 on Saturday setting up a meeting with USC's Jaak Poldma for the title on Sunday at Noon.

Freshman Daniel Kosakowski will also be in action at Noon on Sunday, as he advanced to the consolation singles final with a 6-3, 7-6 win over Denver's Yannick Weihs. Awaiting him in the final will be USC's J.T. Sundling.

USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Update
UCLA's Amit Inbar and Nick Meister were beating in the consolation doubles final on Saturday at the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.

The Bruin duo was ousted by Stanford's Bradley Klahn and Ryan Thacher, 8-6.
