The 25th-ranked Bruins (6-2, 3-2) took the field this morning to begin preparations for the Pac-12 Conference game against No. 24 Arizona (5-3, 2-3). The contest will kick off at 7:37 p.m. and be televised by the Pac-12 Networks.
Some Bruin notes from the NFL's eighth weekend- Arizona - DL David Carter saw action for the Cardinals; Carolina - PK Justin Medlock booted five field goals - 34, 31, 22, 43 and 45 yards in length , DL Nate Chandler made a tackle; Cleveland - LS Christian Yount saw action against San Diego ; Denver - WR Matthew Willis played for the Broncos Rahim Moore was credited with two passes defensed ; Indianapolis - LB Justin Hickman made two tackles for the Colts ; Jacksonville - RB Maurice Jones-Drew was not active this week, due to injury, TE Marcedes Lewis caught a couple of passes for 21 yards, LB Kyle Bosworth made a special teams tackle; San Diego - OT Mike Harris saw action for the Chargers ; Tennessee - LB Akeem Ayers totaled seven stops, including a sack for the Titans, CB Alterraun Verner recorded nine tackles, three for loss ; Washington - TE Logan Paulsen caught four passes for 43 yards Kai Forbath kicked a pair of field goals, connecting from 48 and 45 yards out ; Minnesota - P Chris Kluwe kicked six times for a 37.8-yard average ; New England - WR Matthew Slater had a tackle on special teams for the Patriots; Dallas - DL Kenyon Coleman registered five tackles and forced a fumble for the Cowboys.
