BRUIN INJURY UPDATE
The Bruins have three players that have been sideline this season due to injury and all three will not play in Friday (Nov. 23) night's contest against Yale. All-American point guard Darren Collison has a sprained left knee (MCL); junior guard Michael Roll has a ruptured plantar fascia in his left foot while sophomore forward James Keefe is rehabilitating from surgery on Aug. 10 to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. The Bruins will only dress eight scholarship players for the Yale contest. Alfred Aboya (right knee) and Russell Westbrook (left knee) both have soreness after the Michigan State game, but should be able to play against the Bulldogs.

NATIONAL POLLS
UCLA sports a national ranking of No. 1 (tied with North Carolina) in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll and a No. 2 ranking in the Associated Press poll.

SERIES VS. YALE
This is just the second meeting between UCLA and Yale with the Bruins leading the series 1-0. The Bruins won the only previous meeting 95-65 at home on Dec. 26, 1963. The fourth-ranked Bruins defeated Yale in the first game of the L.A. Classic. UCLA won its first national championship that season, completing a perfect 30-0 campaign.

LOVE NAMED CBE CLASSIC MVP
Freshman center Kevin Love was named the CBE Classic Most Valuable Player after averaging 19.5 points and 13.5 rebounds in the wins over Maryland and 10th-ranked Michigan State.

SHIPP NAMED TO CBE CLASSIC ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
Junior guard/forward Josh Shipp was named to the five-member CBE Classic All-Tournament team after recording 18 points and four rebounds in each of the wins over Maryland and 10th-ranked Michigan State.

HOME SWEET HOME
The Bruins are 582-87 (.870) all-time in Pauley Pavilion and have won their last 23 home games, which ranks as the seventh-longest home court winning streak in the nation. The last team to beat UCLA at home was 12th-ranked West Virginia, which beat the 18th-ranked Bruins 60-56 on Jan. 21, 2006.
