Junior All-American distance runner Cory Primm has been named to Team USA's roster for the 2010 NACAC Under-23 Championships, held July 9-11 in Miramar, FL. The meet (North American, Central American and Caribbean) features 32 member nations.
Under the auspices of the I.A.A.F. (International Amateur Athletics Federation) and the USATF (USA Track & Field), athletes in the 23 and under category representing Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, St. Kitts/ Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turk and Caicos Islands, United States Virgin Islands, and United States of America will be in action.
Primm will compete in his specialty, the 800m, an event he finished fifth in at the NCAA Championships this past June. The semifinal rounds will be held on Saturday, July 10th at 10:20 am (EST) with the final to follow on Sunday, July 11th at 6:35 pm (EST).
