Tulsa, Okla. - Senior men's tennis player Nick Meister won his third-straight qualifying match on Wednesday to earn a spot in the main singles draw at the D'Novo/ITA All-American Championships at the University of Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Meister, who was the No. 6 seed in the qualifying draw, defeated Sacramento State's Kiryl Harbatsiuk, 6-2, 6-3 on Wednesday. It sets up a main draw meeting with Binghampton's Sven Vloedgraven tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. (CST).
Senior Amit Inbar fell just short in reaching the main singles draw on Wednesday, suffering a 7-5, 7-6(3) loss to Jon Wolff of Wake Forest.
Meister and Inbar are also the fifth-seeded duo in the main doubles draw. They will meet qualifiers Alberto Bautista and Colin Hoover of Texas A&M in the first round.
