Anna Li Named To U.S. World Championship Team

Sept. 21, 2011

UCLA alumna Anna Li was selected to the U.S. World Championship Team following the conclusion of the World and Pan Am Team Selection Camp Wednesday night at the USA Gymnastics National Team Training Center.

Li, who was an eight-time All-American at UCLA from 2007-10, was chosen for her prowess on uneven bars, an event on which she scored two perfect 10s as a collegiate gymnast in 2010. Li placed third on the event at the Visa Championships in August.

The World Championships will be held Oct. 7-16 in Tokyo, Japan.
