IN THE POLLS

UCLA is unranked in the AP Top 25 and the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll (Feb. 7) and received nine votes in the coaches poll and five in the AP poll. The Oregon Ducks (12-11, 5-6) are unranked in both polls, and didn't receive any votes in either poll.

SERIES VS. OREGON
This is the 110th meeting between UCLA and Oregon with the Bruins leading the series 82-27 (.752). The Bruins have won six of the last seven games against the Ducks in Pauley Pavilion, but lost last year's contest, 70-68. The Bruins trailed by as many as 14 points in each half before engineering a comeback to tie the game at 65-65 with two minutes left on a traditional three-point play by Jerime Anderson. But the Bruins committed two turnovers on their next two possessions and missed two three-pointers on the next two to drop their first home game to Oregon in seven years. Tajuan Porter scored a game-high 29 points while Jeremy Jacob had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Michael Roll led UCLA with 25 points while Malcolm Lee added 18 points. The Bruins became the first (and still the only) team to beat Oregon in their new Matthew Knight Arena on Jan. 15, 2011 with the 67-59 victory. Malcolm Lee led four Bruins in double figures with a game-high 18 points. UCLA Head Coach Ben Howland is 11-4 all-time against the Ducks.

BRUINS' INJURY REPORT
Junior guard Lazeric Jones sprained his left wrist midway through the second half of the Bruins' home win over USC (Feb. 2). He finished the game and was taken for X-Rays immediately after the contest. The X-Rays were negative. He started against St. John's, but went 0-for-6 from the field and was scoreless. Brendan Lane's grandmother, Adelija Banevicius, passed away at the age of 82 the morning of UCLA's win over St. John's (Feb. 5) where she lived in Westborough, MA. He will not be available when the Bruins face Oregon on Feb. 10.
