LOS ANGELES - The No. 3 UCLA men's water polo team returns to action at the NorCal Tournament the weekend of Sept. 17-18 in Stockton, Calif. The Bruins will open against No. 20 Air Force on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Delta College (June Fergusson Pool).
UCLA will face either No. 6 UC Santa Barbara or No. 13 Concordia at Delta College that afternoon. Should UCLA defeat Air Force, the Bruins will play two games at the University of the Pacific's Chris Kjeldsen Pool on Sunday.
Fans can purchase tickets to the NorCal Tournament online through the tournament's website until Thursday, Sept. 13, or by calling the University of Pacific's Ticket Office at (209) 946-2474.

Bruins Open With 2-0 Start
Hosting the UCLA Invitational last Saturday, the Bruins got their season off to a 2-0 start. UCLA opened the day-long session with a 22-2 victory over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. After two exhibition matches, the Bruins closed in the evening with a 19-5 win against La Verne. Freshman David Culpan scored a team-leading five goals against La Verne after netting four versus CMS.
In all, UCLA outscored its two opponents by a combined 41-7 margin. All four Bruin goalkeeper saw action in the contest. Senior Andrew Mesesan did not allow any goals, logging six saves in two quarters, including five stops in the opening frame against La Verne. Each goalie played one quarter in both games.
UCLA Returns Home Sept. 23
Following the NorCal Tournament (Sept. 17-18), UCLA will return to action at home with a non-conference match against Pepperdine on Friday, Sept. 23. Game time is slated for 7 p.m. Fans unable to attend the match at Spieker Aquatics Center will be able to listen to an audio broadcast online, free of charge, at uclabruins.com.
