UCLA freshman goalkeeper Brian Perk has earned his second call-up to the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team in less than two months. Perk, who played with the U-20s at the Four Nations Tournament in Busan, South Korea from Aug. 29-Sept. 2, will join the U.S. for a four-day camp from Oct. 8-12 in Sunrise, Fla. The players and staff will arrive on Sunday, Oct. 8 and train for three days before facing Haiti in a closed-door match on Oct. 11.
Perk is coming off a nine-save game at UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 5. He is 3-0-1 on the year with a 0.90 goals against average and is averaging 4.75 saves per game. Perk is 1-1 with the U-20s this year, with the victory coming against Argentina at the Busan Tournament. He had five saves in the contest.
Of the 16 players on the roster, 10 are professionals playing in Major League Soccer or overseas. The other six are collegiate players.
