UCLA Signee Peng Peng Lee Wins Four Medals at Pacific Rim Championships

UCLA Gymnastics signee Christine Peng Peng Lee won four medals at the Kellogg's Pacific Rim Championships this weekend in Everett, Wash., claiming two silver and two bronze medals.

In Friday's team and all-around competition, Lee placed third in the all-around with a score of 57.80 and led Canada to a team bronze medal. At event finals on Sunday, she earned silver medals on balance beam with a score of 15.300, just .075 away from the gold medal, and on floor exercise with a score of 14.575.

Lee also tied for fourth on uneven bars, finishing one-tenth of a point out of third place. She had the meet's highest execution score (8.900) on the event.

Canada competed in the first of two sub-divisions and finished in third place overall with a team score of 219.000. The U.S. took first place with a score of 239.700, and China was second with 220.650.

Lee is coming off an all-around victory last week at L'International Gymnix, where she scored 57.875.
