Clemens Wins Cal Poly Invitational

UCLA sophomore Mario Clemens won his first collegiate tournament Tuesday afternoon, capturing the individual crown at the Firestone Grill Cal Poly Invitational at Monarch Dunes Golf Course.

Clemens, who was the 36-hole co-leader, fired a final round 67 (-4) for a 54-hole score of 207 (-6) and won by four shots over North Dakota's Alex Robb.

Senior Connor Driscoll tied for fifth place at three-over par 216 after posting a score of 71 (E) in the final round and freshman Anton Arboleda tied for 13th place at 220 (+7) following a 73 (+2). Sophomore Bobby Lange tied for 40th after carding a 77 (+6) on Tuesday.
