Note: Dan Gadzuric (1999-2002) played nine years in the NBA but signed with China's Jiangsu Dragons in October. There are two Bruin greats on NBA staffs - Memphis Grizzlies assistant coach Henry Bibby (1970-72) and Utah Jazz assistant coach, player Development Michael Sanders (1979-82). Additionally, Cedric Bozeman (2002-06) is a member of the Reno Bighorns in the NBA Development League.

Over the years, the Bruins have also had a large number of players competing professionally overseas, including Alfred Aboya (2006-09/Japan), Michael Fey (2003-06/China), J. R. Henderson (1995-98/Japan), Reeves Nelson (2009-11/Lithuania), Charles O'Bannon (1994-97/Japan), Michael Roll (2006-09/Belgium), Josh Shipp (2005-09/Turkey) and Dijon Thompson (2002-05/France).

Since 1948, UCLA has had more NBA draft selections (108) than any other school in the nation, ahead of Kentucky (102), North Carolina (101) and Duke (77).
