Top-seeded UCLA finished seventh at the Callaway Collegiate Match Play Championship Tuesday at Hawks Ridge Golf Club in Ball Ground, GA.

Juniors Gregor Main and Alex Shi Yup Kim and senior Connor Driscoll won their matches, while freshman Patrick Cantlay and sophomore Mario Clemens lost theirs.

The Bruins defeated East Tennessee State 3-2-0 with Kim capturing the deciding match by rallying on the last two holes and winning on the 20th hole, giving the Bruins a seventh place result.

In that No.5 match, Kim was two holes down with two to play before recording birdies on the last two holes to square the match. He won with a par on the 20th hole.

Main won 5 and 4 over Spencer Lawson, wrapping up the match with a bogey to Lawson's double bogey on the first hole (their 14th hole).

Driscoll defeated Patrick Spraggs 4 and 2. The match was all square after 10 holes when Driscoll won the 18th with a par to go up a hole. He was two-up after 14 holes before making a key birdie at the fourth hole to take a 3-up advantage. He won the fifth hole (his 16th) with a par to end the match.

Cantlay lost 3 and 2 to Paul O'Kane and Clemens lost 1-up Devin Komline.
