UCLA Women's Rowing to Open Spring Season on Saturday

LOS ANGELES - The UCLA women's rowing program opens its spring season versus Loyola Marymount on Saturday, March 7, in Marina del Rey, Calif. The Bruins will race two varsity eights, one varsity four and one freshman four.

Saturday's races against the Lions will take place at Ballona Creek, the home facility in Marina del Rey, Calif., for both UCLA and Loyola Marymount. The varsity four will begin at 8:15 a.m. Following the men's novice eight (8:30 a.m.), the women's freshman four will compete (8:45 a.m.).

UCLA's varsity eights will compete in back-to-back time slots (9 a.m., 9:15 a.m.). After the men's varsity eight race at 9:30, the Bruins will christen two boats at 10 a.m.
