  • UCLA now leads the all-time series with BYU, 7-1, and has won the last seven meetings.

  • UCLA's all-time record in the Rose Bowl is now 106-44-2 and 13-1 in the last 14 games.

  • The Bruins have won three straight home openers.

  • UCLA is now 21-5 overall at home under Coach Karl Dorrell.

  • Cornerback Trey Brown had a 56-yard interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter, the second of his career and the longest return of his career.

  • Freshman kicker Kai Forbath's 40-yard field goal in the second quarter was the longest of his career

  • Defensive end Bruce Davis' two sacks today give him 19.0 career sacks, tying Frank Stephens (1975-77) for 10th on UCLA's all-time list.

  • Wide receiver Marcus Everett had five receptions today to move into 21st on UCLA's career receptions list with 77.

  • Tailback Chris Markey had 50 all-purpose yards (all rushing), raising his career total to 3,577, which moves him to eighth on UCLA's career list. His 50 rushing yards also improved his career rushing total to 2,139 and moved him into 12th place on UCLA's career rushing list.

  • Today's attendance of 72.986 was the highest for a UCLA home opener since the Bruins drew 73,723 to the Rose Bowl for a 13-6 win over Ohio State on Sept. 22, 2001.
